The one at the end…

And so, it’s farewell to the summer runs of 2019 πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸŒž, though in true British tradition πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ it rained on the parade πŸ’¦πŸ’¦accompanied by a gusty breeze πŸŒ¬πŸŒ¬πŸ’¨, nonetheless 16 hardy runners πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈgathered at the floral pavilion, which was closed so we couldn’t shelter from the elements πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά, so the only option was for us to get running to warm up the body. But wait…. there’s mutiny amongst us, do we run to Seacombe Ferry βš“οΈβ›΄ or do we run to Leasowe Lighthouse πŸ’‘πŸ’‘a show of hands βœ‹πŸ€šand most had gone on the winter route of Seacombe…three dared the longer route to Leasowe, myself, Donna Mckeownand Mark Critchley took on the challenge, the wind favourable going out and coming back, the downside was…it was a longer distance πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈand everybody else had finished before the rains arrived πŸ’¦πŸŒ§β˜”οΈ, but the seahorse awaited..nothing better after a run than a few 🍺🍺and some good food πŸ”πŸ₯©πŸŸπŸ—πŸ–πŸ°πŸ¨and putting the world 🌎 to rights. In general it’s been a great summer of running for all of us, the winter runs start now πŸŒ›πŸŒ™πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ when we get lit up like a Christmas πŸŽ„ tree. Safety first. And on the bright side πŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺGhent is just around the corner…keep on running..
